The American Polygraph Association (APA)
A professional organisation existing to provide training, model best practices and offers professional resources for the continued growth of ethical and evidence-based detection of deception through the use of polygraph. The American Polygraph Association along with its members share a commitment to the public interest through the development, communication, and promotion of valid and ethical polygraph practices.
The British & European Polygraph Association (BEPA)
The largest polygraph association within Britain and the rest of Europe. Members are qualified professionals who are united in upholding the highest standards of morals, ethics and professional conduct within the field of Polygraph. BEPA governs the conduct of its members by requiring adherence to a Code of Ethics and a set of Standards and Principles of Practice.
The British Polygraph Association (BPA)
The first Polygraph Association of its kind to be created in the UK. Due to the steady growth of private individuals, businesses and media companies, utilising the polygraph, there is a necessity for an association to exist to help promote professional standards within the industry. The BPA website is designed to provide accurate information regarding polygraph testing. Although the BPA does not provide a polygraph testing service itself, you can use our contact page to seek further information. Our members are committed to providing a valid and reliable means to verify the truth and uphold the highest standards of moral, ethical and professional conduct in the polygraph field.

Our services can be conducted at one of our controlled offices or at a location which is convenient for our clients. Our accredited & experienced Polygraph Examiners, Carole London-Williams & Tayler London-Williams are registered members of The American Polygraph Association and The International Society of Polygraph Examiners. Our examiners undertake periodic, updated training every two years and only use the latest in validated test techniques and computerised polygraph systems.
Yes, both of our polygraph examiners are female. If however, you would prefer to use a male examiner, we are happy to refer you to another company who can accommodate your request.
Yes, for the convenience of our clients appointments can be scheduled for evenings and weekends and at a location local to you. We do not conduct tests in peoples homes however we will provide meeting rooms facilities usually within a 20 mile radius of your home.
The lie detector test records manifestations of a persons central nervous system from at least three systems in the body whilst questioned about concerns of specific issue, incident or event. The examiner will analyse the charts collected and render an opinion as to the persons truthfulness. The examination consists of four phases and will typically take between 2-3 hours. Although no forensic testing of any kind can be guaranteed to be 100 % accurate, research gathered by The American Polygraph Association has suggested that qualified polygraph examiners can achieve an accuracy of 95% to 98% when an examination is conducted in an accurate manner, with issue-specific questions and using validated polygraph techniques.
Lie Detector Investigations work to specific key conditions, using robust policies and best practices. Each test is quality controlled by a second examiner and our written reports are also verified, unless otherwise requested by our client.
